Properties of Everflon ETFE Resins
Everflon® ETFE E4010 makes it uniquely suitable for high-speed processing, especially for extrud-ed coatings and injection molding of slender, thin-walled, or intricate shapes. Properly processed products made from neat Everflon® ETFE E4010 are inert to most solvents and chemicals, hydrolyti-cally stable, and weather-resistant. Recommended upper service temperature is 150 °C (302 °F); useful properties are retained at cryogenic ranges. The level and stability of dielectric properties are excellent, and the flame rating is V-0 by the UL94 method. Mechanical properties include outstand-ing impact strength, cut-through, and abrasion resistance.
Brief Introduction
Everflon® ETFE E4010 is a premium fluoroplastic resin available in translucent, 2.5-mm (0.1-in) pel-lets. Compared with other grades of Everflon®, its most unique features are an intermediate flow rate and a balance of properties that make it suitable for a variety of processes and demanding end uses.
Everflon® ETFE E4010 can perform successfully in applications where other thermoplastics are lacking in mechanical toughness, broad thermal capability, ability to meet difficult environmental conditions, or limited by fabricating problems

Main Processing Way of Everflon ETFE Resin E4010
Everflon® ETFE E4010 can be processed by conventional, melt-extrusion techniques and injection, compression, transfer, and blow molding processes. Compared with other grades , it can be processed with greater ease and speed because of its high flow rate. Also, the melt viscosity is reduced with increasing shear rate; thus, permitting the use of pressure extrusions through narrow dies without requiring appreciable drawdown. Reciprocating screw injection molding machines are preferred. Corrosion-resistant metals are recommended for contact with molten resin.
Extruder barrels should be long, relative to diameter, to provide residence time for heat-ing the resin to approximately 340 °C (640 °F).

Package&Delivery
Everflon® ETFE resins are not affected by storage time. Ambient storage con-ditions should be designed to avoid airborne contamination and water condensation on the resin when open-ing and emptying the packaging.
Everflon® ETFE is packaged in 25-kg, single layer, plastic bags.
For convenient shipment, orders of 500-kg gallary are recommended.
